  5. I was hooked. Wasted about two years of my adolescence. One of the worst "decisions" I have made so far. It wasn't really a decision though, because it was alot of fun in the beginning and I soon after I just couldn't quit anymore. It was MUCH harder to quit than other nasty habits I have kicked.

  9. Spend hundreds of hours farming for a mount? That's the best part imo, that's what made the game worth playing. Anything, not even experience wasn't just handed to you. You want that epic mount? Better prepare yourself for a long farm.

  10. In the 2004+ and upwards, there were two kinds of addicted gamers: Runescape-gamers and World of Warcraft gamers. Both games required an insane amount of time to get anything done because of the grind + it was hella fun at the time.

  11. I recently went back to Vanilla WOW and finished it in a sense (cleared Naxx,) on a private server. The game is just as addictive as I remembered it being back in 2004 when I first played it. For sure the most addictive game I've ever played, most other video games are not comparable.

  13. My roommate has literally been playing Fortnite in his room for 6 months straight now. He plays all night long once he gets back from work, every single night and im not even kidding. When he isn't playing he's watching youtubers or twitch people talking about it. 6 fucking months. Nothing else. I cannot understand people who become so obsessed with something that isn't even real? Like…. What?

  15. I play WoW and I love it, honestly. I don’t let it consume me, though. I know when to take a break and I have other hobbies like reading and working out. My partner is pretty sucked into it though. He will play until 4 in the morning sometimes. I just can’t stand staring at a screen for that long.
