  6. I think this game is going to be something special! Like Super Mario 64 grade of special. Every trailer that comes out for Odyssey seems to reconfirm this. I LOVE the 2D segments and hope that they are used throughout the game.

When was the last time that main entries into both Super Mario and Legend of Zelda came out in the same year on the same system?

2003 with Wind Waker and Sunshine is what I'm thinking? Anyone?

  12. When he possessed the chef bro .. you can hear his voice with the chef bro’s voice , reminds me of super MARIO 64 DS when yoshi collects the caps and his appearance changed yet he still had his voice

  13. I must admit, one thing that does bother me slightly is the amount of hints that are thrown at you.
Take a look when he captures the Hammer Bro. Not only does Cappy tell you how to attack, you also get the text at the bottom of the screen reiterating AND ALSO a little video in the corner showing you how to shake the controllers!
I kind of hope you can turn it off, or at the very least that it will only happen the first time you capture a type of object.

  21. Really love how this is shaping up, but I have one complaint… I truly hate the plain white, uncreative text they use for getting a moon and things like that. Compared to Sunshine's flair for it, it just feels…unexciting.

  33. This game is easily the most beautiful game of the year and on a supposedly underpowered console.

  34. The Capture ability reminds me of riding mutants in Crash of the Titans, the animal transformation in Banjo Kazooie, and the Body Snatch from Destroy All Humans 2. I think Prototype had a similar gimic, but I'm glad they added it to this Mario game. I think it's safe to stay that Capture > traditional mushroom and flower power ups. You all can disagree but keep in mind that this is JUST my opinion
