  5. actually, you can mine redstone using a iron pickaxe, thats how you make a compass. hope that helps people 🙂

  12. R u using the seed "ilovepizza"? I use it and it's wonderful. flat land, TONS of minerals (esp. Iron and redstone) and an "ocean".
