The star in slip sand galaxy on the slide is possible because i believe the youtuber bikdiponabus did it in one of his Mario galaxy coinless video’s in the past.
I really need to buy and try this sequel one day.

  14. a lot of people say that the beep block galaxy (or beat block galaxy, i forgot :p) prankster comet makes it twice as fast.

    IT DOESN'T!

in the normal level each color swaps back and forth exactly every 5 seconds. I measured this, and if it did swap every 5 seconds, the PC swaps every 2.5 seconds if it was cut in half. HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT TRUE! The PC swaps every 1 SECOND, making it 5 TIMES FASTER!

AGAIN, I TIMED THIS! And i beat it.

Tip for PC: when you want to stay on a color, but move to another block of the same color, spin jump/flutter jump. jump normally if you want to transfer to another color.

  19. In yoshi Star Galaxy maybe you can use yoshi's infinite flutterGlitch maybe in your rules you didn't say glitches are not allowed so you can just maybe infinite flutter into the launch star above the 1st one try it

  20. so I think it is cheating because you can just collect a coin then get to a checkpoint and just reset the coin counter soooo……..

  21. also via "beat" it would be impossible to play grandmaster because some stars require lumas to transform and use coins
however collecting just enough might count allowed

  22. Grandmaster called
Now do the whole game like a perfect run

  23. Now that we know that it's possible to beat Super Mario Galaxy 2 without collecting coins or star bits, is it possible to beat the game without collecting either?

  24. Hmmm, maybe you should hack each game you do this challenge on. For example: Make it so that whenever you touch a coin you die immediately. :3 lol

  26. This challenge might be possible with the help of a second player since the Orange Luma can hold on to Coins. Don't remember if the Luma automatically gives you the Coin though.
