Blast Burn Typhlosion vs All Fire-Types in Pokemon GO | Gens 1-7

Video is ready, Click Here to View ×

Typhlosion is confirmed to get Blast Burn as its Community Day charge move. Of course people want to know just how good Typhlosion is in the Pokemon GO meta. Despite having the same exact stats as Charizard, having Ember instead of Fire Spin as a Fast Move puts it a bit behind. A mixed Shadow Claw + Blast Burn set also fails to stand out in a meaningful way (imo). Given how one note this analysis is, I decided to take a look at every single Fire-type starter Pokemon with Blast Burn as well…

As for mega Pokémon, they definitely have the potential to be extremely impactful. I think it’s likely that players will be limited to one mega per party (just like the main series games). It is likely that they will also require some sort of bond between Pokémon and trainer, likely the buddy walk distance hitting a certain number. Hopefully they allow for at least one mega per gym (would be nice for mega Pokémon like Aggron, Sableye, etc.)

  10. What if for the mega evolution you need to burn something like 100 candy or a big number of stardust per Pokémon something like 50,000 maybe since they buffed

  14. You can only mega evolve 1 Pokemon per battle. Which I think it would work like that

  19. I believe that they introduce Mega to the game it will probably have to be your buddy Pokemon and it will stay in mega form why it's your buddy and when you switch him out he'll convert back they probably give it to 9% debuff like they did legendaries they can make a requirement in order to Mega Evolve it you have to walk it like a hundred kilometers or have so many Gym Battles won on that one Pokemon🤣
